One of the most significant challenges confronting UK organisations is the impact of poor mental health. 1 in 4 workers struggle with mental health issues, and 1 in 5 feel unable to manage workplace stress. Mental ill health can develop at any time or place. There are many factors which can have a negative impact on mental health and make it harder for people to cope. Training for mental health is crucial for fostering a supportive work environment where employees feel valued and can thrive.
Our mental health first aid courses can help equip your leaders and colleagues with the knowledge and skills to spot the signs of poor mental health in the workplace and provide the right support to those who may be struggling. In turn, they can deliver wider benefits for your organisation, helping you to reduce absence, boost productivity and demonstrate your commitment to prioritising the health and wellbeing of your workforce.
We are able to provide training at your premises, at a time and date to suit your requirements, reducing your costs in respect of additional time out and travelling.
We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne and deliver training in Northern England, Scottish Borders and South West Scotland.
These courses consider how to initially help and support people with mental ill health.
